So we were invited to a Memorial Day BBQ, and I called and asked, "should I bring strawberries?" The host said, "Sure, can you make them chocolate covered?" and then laughed. I picked up the gauntlet and sent Rick out for chocolate chips. Always the chef, Elly jumped in immediately to assist. What resulted were beautiful chocolate covered strawberries, some messy chocolate covered pretzels and a very messy countertop. (Note the Block O on the serving tray.) They were the hit of the party.

We went to a really nice Memorial Peace program this morning at Christ Church Episcopal. It is put on the the Interfaith Peace people. Wish you could have been there with us.
