We're going on a trip, and I've ordered the darlings to pack. Of course the big girls are going about it very methodically. Nano...check. I-pod...check. Bathing suits...check. (We're going to the beach.) Katy is trying to get away with taking 30 Webkinz. I get it down to a few.
Then there's our little one. I check in on his packing, and he's completely emptied his drawers into the biggest suitcase he could find. I do have to give him kudos for how neatly he put EVERY ITEM OF CLOTHING into the suitcase. It took about 30 minutes to unpack and realize priorities. His bag is now neatly packed with the essentials. I did offer up a backpack to cram as many "guys" as he could he get into it. It was the perfect example of Mommy/son compromise.
