The girls are gone and the husband is at a conference. That leaves me and the wild one. Mommy and son bonding. We miss the girls, but we've:
Had McDonald's for breakfast
Gone to Starbucks
Found treats at Target
Played some Wii
Eaten ice cream
Read many books
Snuggled in bed watching t.v.
And caught up on life.
It's amazing how many things you can talk about with a five year old. He is full of insight. I now know the difference between Bionicles and Transformers. And I never tire of walking through the kitchen and hearing, "Mama....I love you" without taking his eyes off the t.v. screen while manuvering Lightning McQueen around the track. It's been a fun few days, my Benny Boy. Mama has loved every minute of it.
